A patient wrote in sharing his experience with our DAISY Honoree: "I recently suffered the misfortune of a severe burn. I was under the care of a burn center and VNA to monitor my recovery. The nurse was assigned and made weekly visits. This nurse is an admirable person and welcome in my house. This nurse assisted my family in caring for me. Services have since ended, and I will miss her visits. A family member of another patient wrote in saying, "Thank you to our nurse for keeping me sane and my mind clear on this journey with my husband. This nurse has been fantastic and always helpful."
