Maggie was my sister J’s nurse. When Maggie got on shift, she was precepting a new nurse. In the middle of the shift, my sister started to show signs and symptoms of a complication from her surgery. 

Maggie stepped in and showed leadership, confidence, and exceptional skills. She was very attentive to my sister and really showed that she cared and had the skills to handle this difficult situation. She took the right steps to get my sister the quality care she needed in order to figure out she had an issue with her surgery. And one thing my mom noticed with Maggie is that she was very thankful to all of her coworkers anytime they came in to help her and made sure to thank them for their help. Not only did she show care and compassion for her patient but also for her coworkers as well.
