Meg actually came by the shore house and adjusted his harness herself.
My son is a patient of Dr. F’s. He was breech and Dr. F treated him very early for infant hip dysplasia. My husband and I are first-time parents, and we were definitely overwhelmed when our 1-month-old baby was put into a hip harness. We were intimidated by the harness and Meg couldn’t have been more helpful with everything! We called the office with some concerns about how the harness was fitting. Meg was so kind on the phone and even let us email her pictures of the harness. Once she received the pictures, Meg would call us back and walk us through how to adjust the straps. She would then patiently wait for us to do the adjustment and email her an updated picture for reassurance!
We happened to be on vacation down the shore at this time and shared that with Meg who actually came by the shore house and adjusted his harness herself. She even brought us a new clean harness which at the time was very exciting! I’ll never forget Meg coming to the house. She went above and beyond for us, and I will always be so grateful for that. We had the pleasure of seeing Meg this week at our follow-up appointment with Dr. F in KOP. She immediately makes us all feel comfortable and takes the time to hang back and answer any questions. Meg truly is a wonderful nurse and CHOP is lucky to have her!
