Margaret consistently advocates for the removal of unnecessary central line or urinary catheter devices. Whenever Margaret encounters a barrier in the removal of these devices, she will explore alternatives or engage other teams for possible solutions. Margaret interacts with her patients with compassion and empowers them with information on optimizing their safety. Margaret's team contribution to patient safety has led to SDU being 8 months CLABSI-free and has contributed to a 50% reduction in CAUTI's. Margaret truly is an extraordinary nurse.
