My mom was in the ICU, and Margaret was the nurse who first saw her after she came out of her neurosurgery. It was amazing because Margaret immediately made us feel comfortable. We thought that if she was in the ICU, we would be more restricted and would not have access to our mom.

Margaret understood that the family had been through a lot and was under stress. Margaret made sure we were not feeling stressed and created an environment that was comfortable for us, which helped our mother heal faster overall. We felt like we were just being taken care of by friends. It was a wonderful experience, and I think the lower-stress environment enabled my mom to heal faster and go home faster.
