My family and I were in a situation that no one wants to be a part of. My wife's aunt passed away. She was there for about a week with lung fibrosis. I cannot express the great care she received while she was there. In her last days, she mentioned how great the staff was treating her. With this said, one person stood out. Her name is Margarita Hernandez, the nurse practitioner. She was a guardian angel sent to us. Words cannot explain the heartfelt feelings and comfort Margarita provided to our family. We will forever be indebted to her.
Margarita consistently makes herself available to staff, patients, and family. She is patient, compassionate, and always knows exactly what to say to comfort someone in need. Throughout the pandemic, Margarita has shown incredible support to our staff and families. In a time when communication has been challenged, Margarita has been able to overcome all obstacles and make an emotional connection with families to help them through these unprecedented times. We are grateful to have Margarita on our team.
