My daughter was in the NICU for two months. Margie was present during the delivery and she later introduced herself to us in the NICU. Every interaction we had with her since was a positive one. With her sense of humor, she made our time at the NICU more enjoyable. My husband and I were impressed by everything she did, from the meticulous way in which she kept the incubator to the special attention she paid to my own recovery, Margie went above and beyond. With her sense of humor, she made our time at the NICU more enjoyable. Margie made scrapbook posters and prepared milestone cards documenting our daughter’s progress. It was important to her that we knew what was happening every step of the way and that no matter how scary things seemed at times, we always had another milestone to look forward to. Words can never express how much her dedication to her profession means to us. As a Saint Peter’s employee myself, I can say that she is a true representation of the hospital’s mission of treating others better for life.
