Marie is an extraordinarily fine nurse who radiates competence (medically and personally). She is a fine credit to the institution as she is a kind and effective leader. She is also caring to an extraordinary degree, which seems to “infect” the other workers in the unit—making patients feel “cared for” without any sense of “institution.”
