Margo was completing a discharge call back when the gentleman stated he didn't feel well. Margo probed a little bit about his condition and asked some questions. He stated he was having rectal bleeding and he was alone. Margo talked to him a little more and felt she should call 911. When the paramedics arrived, the man was too ill to let them in his house. Margo called him back and he said he couldn't go to the door because he was too weak but he had a key under the doormat. She telephoned 911 again to relay the message regarding the key and the paramedics were able to enter the house. The paramedics brought him to the hospital and he was admitted with a GI bleed among other things.
