My mother-in-law has severe dementia and as she physically improved during her hospital stay, she became more aggravated and upset. I was expecting a call during the night, but Margo was able to calm her by "being her friend" so she thought that she was spending the night with a friend overnight. Margo made a stressful situation so much better.

Margo made an awful experience so much better, you are very lucky to have her, she was great! Margo was just passing by our room and stepped in to help my mother and I as we changed my dad's clothes. She knew exactly how to handle my dad, she made him feel secure and made my mom and I extremely comfortable, she even followed up on his labs. She came in a couple of more times that day to check on us, she was exactly what we needed! Margo was very informative and knowledgeable about everything we needed. She really cares! If she didn't know the answer, she found it. She treated my dad like family and was so caring and friendly. Later in our stay, Margo checked on us, even though dad wasn't her patient. She went out of her way, she is an excellent nurse!
Margo always took the necessary time to positively acknowledge my mother and truly valued my mother's responses. She has a very special gift of putting mom at ease. She should serve as a role model for other nurses!
