Maria was very compassionate and respectful of a family after their loved one passed away unexpectedly. She was one of the nurses in the room administering CPR on the patient as soon as the event happened. After the resuscitation attempt concluded, she remained in the room to clean up and make sure the patient looked as comfortable and peaceful as possible. Maria then personally brought the family back in the room to see their loved one. Maria took that extra step to ensure the family would have a more comfortable moment with their loved one and we believe that made a world of difference for them. We are all in admiration of the care, compassion, and respect she has for all her patients, families, and colleagues. We are so grateful for her.
