Maria is the nurse responsible for the care of the pediatric and adult patients for all of the surgical specialty clinics. Her skill, dedication, and compassion, especially to the poor is awesome! Every day she goes above and beyond to help her patients to navigate the health care system so they can get the care they need. Because she is bilingual she is able to connect with our Spanish-speaking patients and provides teaching regarding their surgical procedures and health care issues. She is truly a blessing to her patients and the doctors she works with.
