There are a hundred ways that Maria Bircher has helped me. She has helped me through chronic pain for years. When I was depressed and wanting to hurt myself she was there for me through my tears. Maria has saved my life. I repeat, Maria has saved my life literally. If I had a question about anything and she didn't know, she would find out for me. She helped me find Doctors that would help me. Veterans Choice; smoking; dieticians; anyone in the hospital and outside the hospital that could help me. I see her around other Vets and people in general and Maria is so kind, gentle, caring, and hard working. I believe to this day if God had not put her in my life I would be dead. I know this for a fact. She has always been the most honest, professional, and most needed person in this world. I thank her from the bottom of my heart. There were things she would talk to me about whether I wanted to hear them or not. Things that I needed to hear. Like I said, without her, I would not be writing this today. She is like an angel sent by God to help me and others. There are others, but not like her. Truly I believe Maria could walk in the shoes of Mother Teresa.
