In the middle of April, I was in a serious accident. It was a frightening situation and everything happened very quickly. Then I met Maria. Maria put me at ease immediately. She was not only pleasant, but she was patient, kind, and personable. She always responded kindly to any of my questions and concerns. She was the most prompt with medications, scheduled and as needed. She set expectations perfectly. She always explained why she couldn't be here if I needed her. She always let me know when I could expect her. She gave me my dignity despite the fact I was totally dependent on her care. She motivated me to work hard to aid in my healing. She never walked in without a smile on her face. She was everything I hoped my nurse would be. I don't believe I would have done as well without Maria's excellent care.
