I was admitted through the emergency department with extreme dehydration. My Husband and I were camping at Scenic Hills Campground when I became very Ill and felt I needed immediate medical attention. My Husband googled hospitals and that brought us to Pomerene Hospital. ( We live in Michigan). God was watching over us, we had no idea if Pomerene was a good hospital, but it proved to be the best place we could have gone. Everyone was amazing, the emergency room was great as was everyone we came in contact with for 2 days. Maria was my nurse for 2 days. She was efficient, kind, caring, compassionate, and sweet as could be! She treated me like I was the only patient she had. She never hurried, took time to talk to me and always asked if there was anything she could do or get me to make me more comfortable. I’ve been to several hospitals but never received the high level of care that I received at Pomerene. I must add that the aide Marianna was terrific, a total joy. Dr. Omran was amazing, reviewed my medical history and scripts and made suggestions I will discuss with my doctor. Thank you to everyone for taking good care of me Sincerely, Deborah Trent
