Maria Cuevas, RN
There are not enough positive words to describe this amazing nurse. Maria goes over and beyond to help not only our patients but she helps her teammates out as well. She has been able to juggle multiple jobs at her clinic like a pro. There is a patient at the clinic that would regularly miss one or two treatments per week. Each and every time she missed a treatment, Maria would reach out to check on her. Maria always educated her on the importance of dialysis and encouraged rescheduling as soon as possible. Eventually, with persistence, this patient became more regular with her treatments. Recently this patient found out she is pregnant. Now more than ever she stated she is so grateful that Maria took the time and made the efforts to keep her on track with her health.
