maria dagostini, RN, BSN

Maria D'agostini has been employed at Detroit Receiving Hospital since 2008, starting her nursing career as a student nurse associate. She has been promoted several times. She currently serves in the Emergency Department as a clinical nurse preceptor. Her current Director, Imana Menard, stated that "Maria is very engaged in the department by supporting a positive culture." Her peers state that she is "bubbly and knowledgeable and doesn't mind sharing her expertise."
Maria graduated with honors from the University of Detroit in 2010. She is ACLS certified, and a member of Sigma Theta Tau. She is also a member of the Nurse Practice Council, Safety & Quality Control Council, Professional Development Council and the Evidence Based Council. She has made several teaching mission trips to Vietnam in 2017 & Nicaragua in 2015.
