I like when Maria works. She knows what I need before I even ask. She is on top of everything. She does my very painful dressings with the gentle touch of a surgeon. She started to teach me how to do my own dressing changes for when I go home with a mirror that she gave me. She has patience with everything she does for me. She took my foley out today and explained to me everything that she was doing. She is very professional, but she kids, and then she is serious and she explains everything she is going to do. I feel extremely safe when she is taking care of me. I can tell that she really cares about me and I am sure the rest of her patients. She can make me laugh even when I am in pain. Maria is one of the very best nurses that I have ever had.
