I am honored to recognize Maria (Celsa) for her outstanding compassion, dedication, and commitment to excellence. She consistently serves as a role model for the entire Oncology/Infusion team, going above and beyond to provide truly patient-centered care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our members and their families.

Celsa exemplifies compassionate care in every interaction. During chemotherapy treatments, she thoughtfully offers comfort measures to help patients feel at ease. When patients feel overwhelmed or anxious, she takes the time to sit with them, hold their hand, and provide reassurance—offering not just clinical care, but genuine emotional support. Her kindness extends beyond the clinic, as she often calls patients to check in on how they are doing, demonstrating a deep and ongoing commitment to their well-being.

She is also highly attentive to individual patient needs, consistently accommodating preferences and ensuring each person feels heard, respected, and cared for. Because of this, many patients specifically request Celsa for their treatments, a testament to the trust and comfort she inspires.
