Maria always treated my mom and me like we were family. From the time my mom arrived at the unit she always made sure my mom was comfortable and explained everything she was doing so my mom wouldn't be surprised. When my mom's heart continued to go into vtach, she was by her side letting her know it was alright and keeping me calm at the same time treating my mom's condition. She always asked if we needed anything and if she could do anything for us. Maria always went above and beyond on all her interactions with my mom. I truly credit my mom's recovery to the amount of care and support Maria gave her.
