Maria was the one shining light. During my most recent stay, while she was my nurse, I felt safe. I felt like my needs were being met before I even knew I needed them met. She made me feel cared for and she was the only nurse that I trusted. She was attentive, caring, and compassionate. She explained everything she was doing.

My procedure did not go well and I was emotionally drained as well as my family being drained and disappointed in the outcome. She addressed my family and asked them if they also needed anything. I cannot express the safety and comfort I felt around Maria. Maria should be a leader in regard to attentiveness and care. She personifies what a nurse is and what they should be. Great attitude and spirit and is a truly caring person.
