My son had an appendectomy late at night. He was in horrible pain all night, and he passed out in the morning the first time he stood up. When Julietta came on shift after that, she was studying him very vigilantly and made him her priority. With his elevated heart rate, blood pressure, and low-grade fever, the doctors just kept saying he was dehydrated. Julietta knew something was wrong and continued to push for a scan. Before he left the floor to go back to surgery, Julietta grabbed his hand and prayed. She didn't even know how much that meant to us as a family of faith. That night, the doctors took two liters of blood out of his abdominal cavity. I truly believe Julietta saved my son's life.
