Maria Lyn Quilatan, BSN, RN

I’ve been working in DSFH for 3 years now. I have dealt with several nursing leaders in my previous experience but Maria has an efficient and effective leadership and management style. With her leadership, I was able to show my potential, able to improve my skills, and was able to handle my hardships. I have witnessed her compassion and dedication by listening to the staff for their concerns, suggestions, opinions, and even issues and problems outside work. She is supportive of her staff, especially at times when some of us are having emotional difficulties. She is not only a nurse leader to us but also a sister to whom we can open up everything and we will not be judged but be directed to the right path. She is very skilled and honest with the staff when it comes to improvement and perfection.
