Maria Macabuhay was hired in 1999 as a registered nurse (RN) in the oncology unit and transferred to the emergency department (ED) in December 2006. She was chosen as the lead RN when one South was in use and was responsible for caring for patients along with rounding and expediting throughput. Her commitment to patient care is reflected in our overall patient satisfaction scores.
