Maria Macias-Aguirre, RN

As a new bedside nurse, 2+ years ago, I was nervous. So much responsibilities and standards! In comes Maria! From day one, she has been the most helpful manager I have ever met! She will get her hands dirty (literally) just to assist us nurses on the unit. She makes it a point to check on every nurse and every patient who comes to our unit. Maria shows compassion in all her work and she inspires us to do the best we can each day, I will forever be grateful for all she does. From providing guidance to the unit to answering the call lights, she is an amazing leader! Maria for president!!
