Maria Moore never lets the overwhelming workload cause her to lose her cool. Not only does she work alone as far as being the only nurse in the Saluda Village Nursing Home, she takes patient assignments as well. On the night shift she professionally cares for 26 residents, showing each one of them the same amount of respect and dignity they deserve. It takes special qualities to be a good nurse. I speak for all staff in saying she is encompasses what the DAISY Award means.
