A patient recognized Maria for staying with her and listening when she was having a tough time thinking she just was not getting any better. Maria brought her a "spritzer" by mixing cranberry juice and Sprite. She said her care and compassion made all the difference in the world and she was feeling way better for it. The patient also said that she had not had to use her call light at all because Maria was taking such good care of her. Maria exemplifies what right looks like! It was a truly uplifting experience rounding on her patients.
