We had a patient that the team was here to transport. While they were loading up the first patient, we had a 2-year-old arrive with anaphylaxis in severe respiratory distress. I asked Maria to help us get a line on the baby before she left. She went into the room and assisted us with everything. She called and let the doctor know the situation, and called a second transport team in. Maria assisted us with the intubation of the 2-year-old and spoke with the mother and grandmother. We are very thankful and grateful for all the hard work and dedication that is shown every time we have a pediatric transport. Today showed how much your team truly cares.
