Maria Osei-Bonsu, RN

Maria wasn’t my Mom’s nurse for very long before she was transferred to the ICU, but she endeared herself to me in that short amount of time. She recognized that my mom (who has dementia) needed something to fidget with and made sure she had something. That simple act of kindness touched my heart. After my mom was transferred to the floor, Maria was not assigned as her nurse, but she took the time to come to her room to ask how she was doing. When I told her that we would be transitioning to hospice, she was so compassionate in her response. She has such a gentle spirit about her that made our stay here a bit better. What a blessing she is to those in her care and their family.
