I would like to nominate this Charge Nurse Rowena for all that she did for me. I had a scheduled cesarean section, and it wasn’t going well. My baby's heart rate went down, and she made me feel very safe. Out of nowhere, she had what felt like 20 nurses at my bedside. She made sure my husband was notified and updated. The reason this is important to me is because I have an emergency cesarean section for my first baby, not at Kaiser. And no update to my husband, my baby went to NICU there and there was no communication with my husband. I was put to sleep and no one went with my baby; I felt like my baby had no one. I want to thank the whole team and they are all great you can see because it started with a great Charge Nurse to an amazing OR nurse.
