Maria always keeps the patients first. She is a stellar PICU nurse. She demonstrates caring and excellent nursing care. I would want her taking care of a child of mine. Today (and other days I’m certain) Maria stayed well after her shift and report to rock and hold a young patient in the PICU. She calmed and comforted the girl. Maria’s years of experience and dedication are exhibited every day. She is everything I want to be in a nurse every day. Thank you to Maria for keeping the true Mission of Cardinal Glennon apparent, and the kiddos safe and happy, not to mention well-cared for.
