During our Sister’s final days here on earth, she was cared for at HSHS St. Anthony’s. Maria was her nurse for 2 nights. The night she was put on hospice was difficult and she was in extreme pain. Maria worked quickly with hospice to get her the help she needed. I wanted to thank her for her quality and timing of care! She made my sister so much more comfortable while she transitioned. Her compassion during this difficult time was very much appreciated. Although everyone we encountered at St. Anthony’s has been superb, we wanted to explicitly recognize Maria because her help during the most difficult night of our lives was met with such compassion and care. She absolutely exceeded our expectations. Thank you HSHS for creating an environment of love and care. It shows through your people.
