Maria Rivas is the perfect role model of caring, compassionate, loving, and nurturing nurse. I never see Maria upset, or with a bad attitude, despite any personal issues she may have. Everyday she comes to work she treats each patient like her own family and goes beyond playing the "medical waitress" as some nurses do, which involves just passing out meds and documenting. Maria will feed, clean, walk, and advocate for her patients all the time. Not only can Maria critically think, but she also knows how to be a team player. Honestly, out of all the "daisies" out there, Maria would be the "daisy" I would choose to take care, treat, and make me smile if I were a patient.
