She displays patience and kindness to her patients and is steadfast in her duties - needing little to no direction in completing her assignments. She is dependable and trustworthy. Maria is always patient-focused. Her attitude keeps her approachable, fluid and flexible. There is no one single incident that stands out in my time working with Maria because I have observed her being patient-focused in all her encounters on every shift I have had the pleasure of working alongside her.
She is never the nurse just for those assigned to her, but a nurse to every patient on the unit. I feel Maria is on her way to becoming the next Nursing Director.
