Maria loved us! She always entered our room with the sweetest, calmest countenance. With attentive eyes and a listening spirit, she never seemed rushed. She was "our" medical advisor, caregiver, family member, and friend! After 6 rounds of chemo, if I got to choose an angel to take home in a time of need, it would be Maria!
