On behalf of my sister, we would like to thank Maria.

We came to the Burn Unit very afraid, and Maria, all the time that she took care of my sister, would take care of her wounds and pain with the most compassion, with the sweetest words to try and comfort her. She did this every time she would be doing any treatment; at the time when everything was painful. 

Maria took such good care of my sister that she was always comfortable during her shift. We, as a family, were very sad and nervous, and Maria would take time to come and comfort us, or offer us a coffee or a sandwich, because we would forget to eat.

Maria, thank you for your dedication and compassion.
