I cannot put into words how Maria made me feel at a time when I was scared, desperate, and feeling very alone. I was having a breast issue and was told by my doctor to go down the hall to get a breast biopsy. I had never had one before and didn't know what to expect. When I got back in the room to have the biopsy done, there Maria was with her gentle touch and words of affirmation and such a loving and caring attitude. She talked me through the whole procedure telling me what was happening and calming my nerves. She was wonderful! Then a few weeks later she held my hand through an MRI-guided breast biopsy. She is one of those people that truly makes a difference. Her love and compassion are outstanding.
