Maria Shiyou, RN

Maria took excellent care of my mother during her stay at Memorial Hospital. My mother had fallen and broken her hip. Maria was very focused on addressing all of my mother’s needs and keeping her as comfortable as possible. She displayed the utmost respect for my mother and our family. Maria was very patient with all the questions and concerns we had. What really touched my heart is when Maria noticed my mother needed her hair brushed. She took the time to brush her hair, even though she had more important things to attend to. These little things mean a lot, and I know they made my mother feel better. In my opinion, Maria’s calling in life was to become a nurse. It is apparent that she loves what she does. She is a very kind-hearted soul and truly an angel of mercy. Our family is so blessed to have had Maria as Mom’s nurse, and we are forever grateful.
