Maria always volunteers to take COVID + patients. Today she gave her 100% for 12 + hours of a COVID + labor and delivery. She never lost her cool and continually treated her incredibly difficult patient with compassion, respect, and care. She encouraged the patient throughout the entire labor and pushing stage. Calmly and effectively Maria didn't let the complexity of the high acuity of the situation phase her. Maria is not only a true team player but a key player on our L&D team and I feel very blessed to work with her.
