Maria Tinsley, BSN, RN, CCRN

Maria Tinsley exemplifies every positive trait that patients want in a nurse (compassion, positivity, attentiveness, and acuity) and brings a unique creativity to her work. Maria is attuned and passionate about healing. She prioritized getting my dad outside for a chance to watch the bunnies and the birds and have a break from “hospital sounds” since he had been on the floor for four days. Maria took extreme care and precautions by checking in regularly with my dad to ensure he was doing okay. His experience outside truly was a turning point in my dad's recovery. He was breathing better, calmer, and more hopeful after that walk. Maria’s kind, engaging, and golden-hearted presence was certainly a major part of this improvement. I want to celebrate Maria and her commitment to patient care and nurturing the human connection through healing.
