Maria Tomlinson, Breast Care Nurse

Maria came into the room when I received the news that I had cancer changes and I needed a mastectomy. After the surgeon had given the bad news, Maria showed the human side. She encouraged me and told me I could get through this. She gave me lots of advice which were explained in layman's terms. I contacted her by telephone many times and she always called me back. She took a common-sense view of this and helped relieve my fears. Any concerns she sorted out for me; including supporting with chemotherapy. Recently, she sorted an issue with day surgery which meant I got my surgery complete. I will never forget you Maria and cannot thank you enough. You are an angel.
