I am so very thankful for the care by Maria. I have a PICC line and not until Maria stepped up. Telling me every day I should have received this special washing of my body, I call my chemical wash. Had my line for several days, and it was Maria who saved my life. I already have a severe infection in my leg. This infection could have spread to my PICC line to my HEART! I could have died! I want to thank Kaiser for giving me Maria as a nurse. She is a kind, caring, and loving nurse. Kaiser should be proud of having an awesome nurse as MARIA! And at the end of the day, Maria took it upon herself to buy me a diet coke! Just a small gesture to please a very grateful patient, me. She taught me how to get better results in my walking. I will say it again and again. Maria is truly the BEST NURSE on staff in 7N.

Maria is a remarkable nurse and she exemplifies the VALUES of Kaiser Permanente Nursing. She provides EXCELLENT care, with INTEGRITY and COMPASSION; she is a TEAM player, extremely PROFESSIONAL, and keeps the PATIENT AND FAMILY IN THE CENTER of everything that she does. Maria truly is an Extraordinary Nurse.
