Maria is the OBGYN care coordinator within the clinic. There was a code heart Pediatric in the ED. Maria has been involved with this family before with clinic appts. The mom specifically asked if Maria could come to the ER and talk to her. Maria did not need to go to the ER as there were spiritual services and social work present. But she went down and spent time in the chapel with the mom who just lost their 15-month-old. Maria goes above and beyond every day she is here. Maria truly provides excellent care to all of her patients. She always puts her patients first. We are so very thankful to have the knowledge, compassion, and dedication that she provides every day.
