My husband is in the hospital for possible lung cancer. We loved Mariah from the first time we met her. We said we liked the Bucks, and she told us a story of her attending the Bucks championship game. She took the time. She also sat on his bed and said, "You guys are going through a rough time." She was so caring. My husband said Mariah helped him spiritually and emotionally better than any staff member, that she was an old soul. When he was ambulating in the hall, she cheered him on. She was so encouraging. When I was leaving that evening, I was quite down. She came up to me in the hall and asked how I was doing. I said I missed our son, who we lost in 2015, and my concerns about my husband's condition. She showed so much compassion, and I was uplifted. It is wonderful to see such a young nurse truly care about us. She is a very gifted nurse.
