My dad traveled 2.5 hours away from home to have a major cardiac procedure done. After he suffered a stroke, Mariah McRae was his nurse. He was scared, unsure of his circumstances, but Mariah's assurance was exceptional. She was very compassionate, informative and always there for the many questions we had. In a world full of nurses in situations like ours, you would truly want a nurse like Mariah by your side. Today, everyday nurses like Mariah deserve to be recognized and appreciated for their dedication to their patients.
