Mariam is a registered nurse who joined the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) in 2023 and currently works in the Medical-Surgical Unit on the 8th floor. She is a kind and collaborative nurse known for her excellent communication and compassionate care. Her prompt and professional response to patients in need is truly remarkable, and her attention to detail and teamwork are evident in her daily tasks.

I am proud to nominate Mariam for the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses in recognition of her outstanding nursing care of a breast cancer patient in our unit. Mariam’s ability to provide comfort during such a stressful time was inspiring to both the patient and her family. During my regular morning rounds, the patient’s husband expressed his deep gratitude for Mariam's compassionate personality and her accountability in caring for his wife. Mariam eased the patient’s anxiety by ensuring that every effort was dedicated to her comfort.
