Mariamma was so sweet and took the time to look on the computer.
I had questions about the medication that my husband was taking, specifically the insulin dosage. The doctor told me she changed/increased the dosage, but it appeared to me that the dosage was the same. Mariamma took the time to check in to this for me. I try to pay close attention to the meds he takes. She was so sweet and took the time to look on the computer. I was concerned that if I didn’t question this dosage amount, my husband would not be well-controlled on his blood sugars. We have had so much trouble adjusting the insulin, keeping his sugars level over the past several months. You see, my hubby has been in and out of the hospital since October having problems from one end to the other. It has been difficult to be in 4 different hospitals since October! The mystery was solved, my fears were calmed – all because of Mariamma. She genuinely cares. She made me laugh when she came in and that has helped me in this stressful time. This hospitalization will be #5 in 7 months and will last about 3 weeks. I am here every day and tired by the end of the day. I love coming and seeing her smiling face, gentle manner with my hubby, and how she makes me laugh. It warms my heart!
