Marian Dolan, RN
Marian has worked in the Diabetes centre for 20+ years, and her knowledge and skills are exceptional.
She was redeployed several times during Covid to work in ITU (previously an ITU nurse), she did this without complaint and faced quite challenging circumstances, which she took in stride. I worked 1 shift with her in ITU and was amazed at how she calmly looked after 3 very ill patients showing exceptional skill, knowledge, and patience.
She will always take time to extend her knowledge and skills to both patients and staff and is always willing to help when asked. She has retired and returned to work in our department and continues to support both patients and staff.
