Marian has been with the FFACTS Clinic around 3 years. She has demonstrated a great leadership role in the Clinic. She worked diligently to regroup/reorganized the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care San Antonio Chapter to provide training on treating HIV affected patients to improve their quality of life. She has organized a Pap-a-thon to encourage FFACTS female patients to follow thru with their well-women exams . This program has expanded to include non-FFACTS female patients and has been received with a lot of fan fare. Upon providing proof of their annual well-women exams, they are provided a make-over at no cost to the patient. Women are pampered with massages, manicures, hair dressing and goodies from local merchants to promote a healthy life style. I would like to thank her for making the FFACTS Clinic more that just an HIV clinic but a clinic to help the women have a life and hope.
