I have received excellent care from many nurses from STVHCS, but THIS nurse (Mariana Camacho, RN) is without question, THE BEST of all.
Ms. Camacho has the gift of being approachable, attentive, and caring. I had suffered a fracture in September and I was in a lot of pain, Ms. Camacho made me feel so much better. She is definitely "Johnny on the Spot", throughout my stay I needed several pain medications, and she never judged me or made me feel like I was a bother. She possesses a natural ability to make you feel comfortable. Ms. Camacho has a very uplifting, positive, and well-informed personality. I would like to recognize her for providing outstanding nursing care, but also advocating for my pain relief. Ms. Camacho exhibits all the ICARE values but especially excellence, commitment, and advocacy in her care. She is an Angel of mercy.
